Beyond Alternative
Corook (aka Corinne Savage) grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Berklee College of Music, where they were in the alt-pop band luhx. To help understand Corook’s music, they have had anxiety since childhood, and so their anxiety has been reflected in their music with humor to help manage their mental health. In April of 2023, “If I Were a Fish” went viral, reaching one million views in two hours and 16 million the next month.
